I’ve Graduated and I am working for Disney!
12th December 2021What a way to end the year!! After an intense 2021-2022 studying Storyboarding at Escape Studios, I have now officially graduated! I am very grateful to those at Escape Studios for teaching me about pre-production and helping me adjust from old job in post. I have never felt so creatively full-filled as I have in this course, being able to create ideas that have been in the back of my mind as well as brand new ones. During my last module, I remember being excited for a little break but life had other plans and I was incredibly honoured to have been approached by Disney for a Storyboard Artist on the new Live-Action of Snow White. The last week of my course was the most hectic I had been in a long time! I had to meet my deadline, find a place to live, fill in paperwork and start my first week as a storyboard artist. I was lucky to find a beautiful flat and began my dream job immediately! What an experience!
I am now three months in the job and it is going far too quickly. I have learnt a huge amount so far and have been blessed with the most patient, encouraging and fun team. By April I will have finished my contract, I wish time would slow down!
Congratulations to the class of 2021! The work you created at Escape Studios was beautiful and I can’t wait to see the work you do in the future!
